The structure 什么…的…的 is used to comment on a previous remark and express disagreement with it.
For example: "It doesn’t matter whether it is beautiful or ugly. If it is warm, it is fine." or "There’s no yours and ours. We have to share.".
The ellipsis is replaced with complements, which are expressed by nouns and adjectives.
