The adverb 总归 “eventually”
We use the adverb to indicate that the situation remains the same, no matter what happens. In a sentence, 总归 should be stated before the predicate, which is most often expressed by a verb.

We usually state the auxiliary verbs and after 总归.

We usually state 总归 between two identical nouns. Such expressions have a connotation either of proof, concession or humility.
