温和 and 温柔 have the same meaning, but differ slightly in usage.

The adjective 温和
温和
is used to express a friendly attitude towards someone or something.

温和 is also used when referring to the weather.

is used to emphasize someone’s gentle nature. It is most commonly used when referring to women.
