Pay attention
When someone says 从来没, it often indicates that the action has not been performed up until now, but that the situation has changed or may change in the near future.
Let’s compare:
我从来不喝酒 I never drink alcohol (and have no plans to change that).
我从来没喝酒 I have never drunk alcohol before (but probably will change now).
