We use the verb
用不着
to emphasize that a person does not need something. It should be followed by a noun or other verb.
Examples

I don’t have a need for that now, but thank you for the kind gesture

Sometimes 用不着 can also be the adjective “unnecessary”. In this case we should state the particle

after it.
