If these adverbs are followed by adjectives, there are two options:

In this construction, the verb can be reduplicated to emphasize that it is a short-time action.

稍微 can be shortened to 稍. In this case, it is followed either by an adjective or a verb consisting of one character.

略微 cannot be shortened.
