How to summarize a conversation “in other words”
We use the phrases 就是说, 这就是说 and 也就是说 to summarize what has been said earlier.
All the phrases , and have the same meaning “that is", "in other words”. We use them to summarize or to conclude a previously stated idea. In a sentence, they are used as introductory phrases and should be separated with commas.

We use 就是说 less often than the other variants.
Examples
就是说,他是一个坏人
That is, he is a bad person
jiùshì shuō, tā shì yí ge huài rén
这就是说,责任不在你,你千万不要怪自己
This means that the responsibility is not on you., yYou don't have to blame yourself
zhè jiùshì shuō, zérèn bú zài nǐ, nǐ qiān wàn bú yào guài zìjǐ
这就好比要把圆的变成方的,也就是说,是不可能的
It's like trying to turn a circle into a square, which is impossible
zhè jiù hǎo bǐ yào bǎ yuán de biàn chéng fāng de, yě jiùshì shuō, shì bù kěnéng de
