Expressing "to accompany" with 陪同 and 伴随
陪同 and 伴随 have the same meaning, but differ slightly in usage.

The verb 陪同
陪同
indicates that one person keeps another person company.
Examples

The verb 伴随
伴随
indicates that one action or phenomenon is accompanied by another. For example, "the disease is accompanied by symptoms".
Pay attention
伴随 is often followed by the particle
着
to indicate the duration of an action.
