Expressing "to have" with 享有, 拥有, 占有 and 具有
These verbs have the same translation. They mean “to have”, “to own”. However, they are used in different situations.
The verb 享有
The verb is used to talk about rights, reputation and authority.
Examples
在中国男女享有平等的权力
Men and women have the same rights in China
zài zhōngguó nánnǚ xiǎngyǒu píngděng de quánlì
她在国际电影行家中享有盛名
She has a good reputation among the film experts from different countries
tā zài guójì diànyǐng hángjiā zhōng xiǎngyǒu shèngmíng
中国菜在全世界享有盛誉
Chinese cuisine has a good reputation around the world
zhōngguó cài zài quán shìjiè xiǎngyǒu shèngyù
The verb 拥有
The verb is used to talk about big and expensive objects. For example, land, population, property.

对他来说,拥有美好的家庭和爱情比拥有大量的金钱更值得珍惜
t is more important for him to have a good family and love than to have a lot of money
duì tā láishuō, yōngyǒu měihǎo de jiātíng hé àiqíng bǐ yōngyǒu dàliàng de jīnqián gèng zhídé zhēnxī
他们并不永久拥有这片土地
They didn’t always own the land
tāmen bìng bù yǒngjiǔ yōngyǒu zhè piān tǔdì
得天独厚的伊拉克拥有大量的石油储藏

The verb 具有
The verb is usually used with abstract objects. For example: a sense, an idea, a quality.

xiànzài suǒyǒu de bīngxiāng dōu jùyǒu jiénéng de gōngxiào
他们的贡献具有伟大的意义
Their impact has great importance
tāmen de gòngxiàn jùyǒu wěidà de yìyì
具有广博的自然史知识
She has extensive knowledge in the field of natural science
tā jùyǒu guǎngbó de zìrán shǐ zhīshi
The verb 占有
The verb often expresses that someone holds a position or plays a role in something.
Examples
农业在中国的国民经济中占有重要地位
Agriculture plays an important role in the national economy of China
nóngyè zài zhōngguó de guómín jīngjì zhōng zhànyǒu zhòngyào dìwèi
占有公司股份的四分之一
He owns a quarter of the company’s stocks.
