The modal adverb (语气副词) expresses subjective judgment or assurance toward an action.

. We should state it before the predicate, which may be expressed by a verb or an adjective.

Sometimes 绝对 can be stated before a negative particle and reinforce the negation itself. Such a combination translates as “absolutely not”.
