Reading Chinese numbers
Reading large numbers is not always difficult in Chinese.
When we read phone, room, apartment, house, flight or license plate numbers consisting of three or more digits, we should state each digit separately.
Examples
我的房间号是513
My room number is 513
wǒ de fángjiān hào shì wǔ yāo sān
我的电话号码是138-7543-5382
My phone number is 138-7543-5382
wǒ de diànhuàhàomǎ shì yāo sān bā qī wǔ sì sān wǔ sān bā èr
Pay attention
One is stated as 一 
.
Two is stated as 二 , not as 两 .
.
Two is stated as 二 , not as 两 .
Two-digit numbers are often stated as regular numbers rather than single digits.
