These Terms of Use ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you ("you", "User") and Laoshi Inc. ("Laoshi", "we", "us"). By installing or using the Laoshi app or our websites (together, the "Service"), you accept these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

Subscriptions, Free Trials and Purchases
Parts of the Service are offered on a paid basis: as an auto-renewing subscription or as a one-time purchase ("Lifetime").
Where you can buy. Paid access can be purchased through:
– the Apple App Store (in-app purchase on iOS, iPadOS, macOS and visionOS);
– Google Play (in-app purchase on Android);
– our website laoshi.io, where payments are processed by our third-party payment providers.
Your purchase is managed by the channel where you bought it: purchases made through the App Store are managed via your Apple account, purchases through Google Play via your Google account, and purchases on our website via Laoshi directly.
Billing and auto-renewal. Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis (for example weekly, monthly, quarterly or annually, depending on the plan you select). At the end of each billing cycle your subscription renews automatically under the same conditions until you cancel it.

Cancellation stops future renewals; you keep access until the end of the period already paid for.
Free trials. We may offer subscriptions with a free trial period. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your subscription starts automatically at the end of the trial and the payment method you provided will be charged the subscription price shown at sign-up. You can cancel at any time during the trial as described above. We may modify or withdraw free trial offers at any time.
Lifetime purchase. A Lifetime purchase is a one-time payment granting access to premium features for the lifetime of the Laoshi app. It is not a subscription and does not renew.
Price changes. We may change subscription and purchase prices. Price changes for subscriptions take effect at the start of the next billing cycle, and we will give you reasonable prior notice so you can cancel before the change applies. Your continued use of the Service after a price change takes effect constitutes agreement to the new price.
